Fireworks Show

The Fourth of July is celebrated in Peachtree City. There is a parade in the morning and fireworks in the evening.

The Peachtree City 4th of July Parade:

• What day is the parade? It is on the 4th of July every year.

• What time does the parade start? At 9am.

• Where does the parade start? At Village on the Green

• What is the parade route? North on Peachtree Parkway to the McIntosh Complex

• The Parade is a Rain or Shine event. However, there is always the possibility that it may be rescheduled. If there is an inclement weather forecast, please check official websites and/or social media pages for updates.

• There is accessible parking located at Luther Glass Park. Please make sure that you have proper credentials to park here.

The Peachtree City Fireworks:

• What time do the fireworks start? At Sundown.

• Where are the fireworks? Over Lake Peachtree.

• Where is the best place to watch the fireworks? There is no designated area. Drake Field and Battery Way is right on Lake Peachtree. Flat Creek Country Club is also a popular place to watch the fireworks.

• When can I "save a seat" for the fireworks? The Peachtree City rule is at Dawn on the day of the fireworks. 

• Flat Creek Country Club:

  • Flat Creek Country Club sets their time at 5pm to put out your blanket/chairs on the driving range

Do's and Don'ts of the Fourth of July in Peachtree City

• Don't put down personal items prior to 6am on July 4th, the items may be picked up by the city.

• Don't go to Drake Field on the 4th of July, it will be closed. This is where the fireworks will be lit.

• DO provide ear protection for young children.
