Disclaimer Alert: The scoop in this article comes straight from chatting with the awesome folks at the new Ace Pickleball in Peachtree City, plus additional research. Keep in mind that offerings may vary at other Ace locations, so don't blame us if your cousin's club in Kansas doesn't have the same setup!
Your New Favorite Destination is Just a Golf Cart Ride Away
Peachtree City, we've officially been served! The brand new Ace Pickleball Club in Braelinn Village isn't just another sports facility—it's like someone designed the perfect pickleball paradise specifically for our unique PTC lifestyle. And honestly, it's about time we got something this good.
As one of the founders, John Cyphers, explained, "We realized there was a serious lack of infrastructure in Peachtree City. There weren't enough courts, and the demand was absolutely huge… The number of players here was much larger than in other communities we considered."
Built for the Golf Cart Capital of the South
Here's what makes this place absolutely perfect for us PTCers: you can literally golf cart there! Located right on our beloved cart path system in Braelinn Village, Ace Pickleball gets what makes our community special. Whether you're zipping over from Kedron, cruising down from Braelinn, or just walking from the neighborhood, getting there is as easy as a drop shot into the kitchen.
"We're right on the golf cart path, so you can drive your golf cart here. You can also come by car or walk if you're close by. It's a perfect option for families," they told us. And let's be real—being able to avoid 54/74 traffic while heading to play pickleball? That's what we call a winner!
Weather Worries? Not Here, Friend
You know how we're always checking the weather app before heading to the outdoor courts at Log House, Flat Creek or Tyrone? Well, kiss those days goodbye! Ace keeps it a perfect 66 to 68 degrees year round, and as they love to say, "We control the weather—it's always sunny here!" No more getting body bagged by Georgia's summer heat or shivering through those surprisingly chilly winter mornings. Just perfect pickleball weather, every single day.
What Makes This Place Different from Every Other Club
All Access, Zero Hassle Membership
Forget about those clubs that nickel and dime you to death. One membership fee covers absolutely everything: unlimited open play, court reservations, ball machine time, clinics, tournaments, social events, and even paddle demos. No contracts, no sneaky sign up fees, no hidden costs that'll make you want to throw a Nasty Nelson at someone.
"We don't nickel and dime people. Everything's included—balls, demo paddles, cushioned courts, climate control. We even have attendants walking around with water, extra balls, and more," the team explained.
The Championship Series for Amateurs
Here's something you won't find anywhere else: Ace's Championship Series is basically the Super Bowl for amateur players like us. While most tournaments charge hundreds of dollars just to get Ernie'd in the first round, Ace shuts down their entire club for qualifiers, brings in food and spectators, and gives regular folks a real shot at qualifying for nationals. This year's nationals in Texas has a $250,000 prize pool for non-sponsored players. Yes, you read that right—a quarter million dollars!
"Most tournaments charge hundreds of dollars, and players may only get a couple of games. Our Championship Series gives amateurs a real chance to qualify for something huge," they shared.
Always Room for One More
Open play runs constantly, so you can literally show up whenever the pickleball itch strikes. Courts are divided by skill level, so whether you're still learning the difference between a Bert and an Ernie or you can nail cross court dinks all day, you'll find your people. Stack your paddle and get ready to meet neighbors you never knew existed.
"Open play keeps games turning over so you're playing with different people. You might see players near your level and put your paddle in for the next game. It's a chance to meet people you wouldn't otherwise cross paths with."
Community First, Always
This isn't just about perfecting your third shot drop (though they'll definitely help with that). Ace is already diving deep into what makes Peachtree City special. They've sponsored a McIntosh High School Interact Club Tournament even before they opened, they're backing the Peachtree City Classic 5K this October, and they're even exploring partnerships with the local Parkinson's chapter because pickleball's short movements are fantastic for mobility.
"The community supports us, and we'd like to give back," they explained. "We want to partner with local businesses and nonprofits. A couple have already reached out."
Family Friendly from Day One
Got kids? Bring 'em! They offer free "Intro to Pickleball" classes for families and kids of all ages (just keep parents on property if the kids are under 16). Their Starter Series—eight classes for just $49—builds confidence so new players can actually jump into games without getting discouraged.
"Too often, beginners get discouraged at other courts if people slam balls at them or criticize them. We want pickleball to stay inclusive, like it was at the start," they shared.
Learn Without the Pressure
Here's something that really sets Ace apart from other clubs: they actually want you to try before you buy! Their free "Intro to Pickleball" classes are open to everyone—families, kids, total beginners—and they provide all the gear. No strings attached, no sales pitch afterward. Just pure "let's see if you love this crazy sport as much as we do" energy.
If you catch the pickleball bug (and trust us, you probably will), their Starter Series gives you eight solid classes for just $49. That's less than what some places charge for a single lesson! The best part? Zero obligation to join afterward. They're so confident you'll want to stick around that they're willing to teach you everything you need to know first.
"We offer a free 'Intro to Pickleball' class for families and kids of all ages. We also offer a Starter Series—eight classes for $49—so players not only learn the basics, but also how to play with confidence," they explained.
More Than Just Courts
The flexibility here is incredible. Need a spot for your nonprofit's fundraiser? They're up for it. Want to throw a pickleball birthday party? Absolutely. Some members even use the space to work remotely between games (hello, perfect remote work setup!).
"We want this to be a full-service place where you can enjoy pickleball, socialize, and we'll take care of the rest."
The Bottom Line
Peachtree City's pickleball passion is so intense it's literally discussed at city council meetings (IYKYK). Ace Pickleball gets that energy and has created something that fits perfectly into our golf cart cruising, community loving, family focused lifestyle.
Whether you're a seasoned player ready to compete in their Championship Series or you're brand new and worried about getting body bagged in your first game, Ace has created the kind of welcoming, convenient, no nonsense club that Peachtree City has been waiting for.
